Woman dies after pickup crashes into construction equipment in Kansas City

KANSAS CITY, MO – A pickup truck driver died following an accident in Kansas City early Thursday morning, according to KCTV.

 

The crash happened in the vicinity of NW 50th Terrace and Frontier Road at about 3 a.m.

 

Investigators said 47-year-old Angela Mathis was driving a Chevrolet Silverado northbound on Frontier Road when the vehicle went off the road and crashed into parked construction equipment.

 

Mathis, a resident of Northmoor, Missouri, was pronounced dead the next day at North Kansas City Hospital.
