Eric is a reliable, experienced attorney dedicated to giving clients reliable legal support. Formerly, Eric practiced civil defense litigation; for almost a decade, he represented some of the largest companies in the area, and obtain valuable skills and insight into how these entities approach legal battles. His desire to help others eventually led to him changing his career trajectory; now, he primarily dedicates himself to representing clients who have been injured—or otherwise experience loss—due to the negligence of another individual.
Eric has obtained a number of awards and distinctions over the years. He was named as a Rising Star (or a top young attorney in Kansas and Missouri) for five consecutive years by Super Lawyers magazine, a distinct only 2.5% of lawyers in the area can claim. In addition, he was given the Lon O. Hocker Award in 2019—an award that honors exemplary young trial lawyers.
Outside of work, Eric spends much of his time playing golf, flying, and spending time with his family.
Chris is a committed attorney that specifically focuses on employment discrimination and personal injury law, though he can assist with all areas of civil litigation. His law school career was colorful; he tailored his work specifically to focus on employment law, and was hired as a law clerk by a small firm while still in school. He continued to work with the firm even after graduation, which helped him to gain extensive experience in the field. He brings all that knowledge to Playter Trial Lawyers, and helps represent individuals who have been wrongfully terminated, were injured in auto accidents, or who face other personal injury or employment discrimination cases. In addition, he can help write wills, assist with estate planning, and handle different types of traffic tickets.
Chris’s success as a trial and litigation lawyer allowed him to be selected as a “Rising Star” in 2016. This list recognizes only 2.5% of all lawyers in Missouri and Kansas for their work. Chris was one of only 20 total lawyers who was selected for the Employment Litigation category.
Outside of work, Chris enjoys spending time with his family, as well as doing a variety of sports-related activities.
