News: Driver injured after crashing into parked vehicle on ramp to I-70 west

LAFAYETTE COUNTY, MO – Missouri State Police issued a crash report on an accident that injured an elderly driver in Lafayette County Friday morning.

 

78-year-old Ira A Crumbaugh of Slater was driving a Chevrolet Silverado on the shoulder of the entrance ramp from Locust Street onto Interstate 70 westbound when the crash occurred shortly after 9:30 a.m.

 

According to the state police from Troop A, the Silverado struck the towed unit of a 2016 Freightliner that was parked on the roadway.

 

Crumbaugh was transported by EMS crews to Western Missouri Medical Center with what were described as minor injuries.
