LIBERTY, MO – A motorcycle rider died following a collision with a truck in Liberty on Thursday night, according to police.
WDAF reports the accident occurred in the vicinity of Missouri Highway 291 and North Stewart Road sometime before 8:38 p.m.
Police said 41-year-old Christopher Huntington was driving a Harley Davidson motorcycle north on Highway 291 when he crossed into the southbound lanes of the roadway and collided with a GMC truck head-on.
Huntington, a Kansas City resident, was pronounced dead at the scene. Two people who were in the truck were not hurt in the wreck.
