KANSAS CITY, MO – Kansas City police reported the death of a woman who was involved in a car crash on Interstate 435 last month, according to KSHB.
63-year-old Mary McGuire of Clinton, Missouri passed away Friday from injuries she sustained in the incident that occurred on Feb. 16.
It happened on Interstate 435 near Bannister Road, where the driver of a Honda Accord was heading east with McGuire as a passenger.
According to police, another driver tried to merge into the same lane as the Honda. The Honda driver swerved to the left, lost control of the vehicle and hit a concrete jersey. McGuire and the Honda driver were taken to an area hospital.
