KANSAS CITY, MO – Police said one of the victims of a crash in Kansas City last month has died from their injuries, KSHB reports.
The incident occurred Jan. 27 on U.S. 71 Highway near East 18th Street. According to investigators, the driver of a Kia Sorrento was speeding and crashed into the back of a dump truck that had stopped in traffic on U.S. 71 Highway.
Police said a passenger who was in the front seat of the Kia passed away last week. The name of the victim was not immediately disclosed. The driver of the Kia was seriously injured, while the driver of the dump truck was not injured.
