News: Motorcyclist, pedestrian injured in collision outside Arrowhead Stadium

KANSAS CIT Y, MO – A motorcyclist was critically injured in an accident outside Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City on Monday morning, police said.

 

According to KSHB, the driver of a Harley Davidson motorcycle was going south on Blue Ridge Cutoff near 40th Street when the incident occurred at about 11:22 a.m. Police said the motorcycle struck a pedestrian who was walking south on Blue Ridge Cutoff in the crosswalk outside gate one at the stadium.

 

The motorcycle rider lost control and was ejected from the bike. The motorcyclist was transported to an area hospital for treatment of critical injuries. The pedestrian was hospitalized with injuries that were not life-threatening.

 

Police said the motorcycle rider was wearing a half-helmet at the time of the crash.
