News: Man, 25, dies after motorcycle hits guardrail in Jackson County

JACKSON COUNTY, MO – The Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a fatal motorcycle accident in Jackson County on Monday night.

 

According to the MSHP’s crash report, the incident took place on  W Park Road north of NE Colbern Road.

 

State troopers said the operator of a 2014 Honda motorcycle was going south at about 8:15 p.m. when he went off the roadway and struck a guardrail.  The motorcyclist was thrown from the bike and was killed.

 

The victim was identified as 25-year-old Corbin Wyss of Grain Valley, Missouri.  Wyss was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident, investigators said.

 

The MSHP was assisted at the scene by Jackson County Sheriff’s deputies.
