News: Driver killed after making U-turn, crashing on Indiana Avenue

KANSAS CITY, MO – A driver was killed when their car was involved in a collision with another vehicle in Kansas City, reports WDAF.

 

Police said a Toyota Camry and a Dodge Charger crashed Tuesday in the area of E. 33rd Street and Indiana Avenue shortly after 12:30 p.m. According to investigators, the vehicles were both going south on Indiana Avenue when the driver of the Camry made a U-turn right in front of the Charger, causing the two vehicles to collide and go onto a sidewalk.

 

The driver of the Camry was pronounced dead after being taken to an area hospital. The driver of the Charger refused medical treatment. Kansas City police are continuing their investigation into the cause of the wreck.
