News: Driver injured after crashing into vehicle on Highway 50 in Johnson County

JOHNSON COUNTY, MO – The Missouri State Highway Patrol was at the scene of a crash that left a driver hospitalized Friday night.

 

According to KSIS Radio, two vehicles were involved in the collision on Highway 50 near NW 1421st Road at about 9:53 p.m.

 

Troopers said 29-year-old Michelle R. Lisher of Warrensburg was driving a 2016 Hyundai that crashed into the back of a 1997 International driven by 61-year-old Michael R. Warlen of Holden.

 

The impact caused the Hyundai to go off the right side of the roadway and overturn. Lisher was taken to Research Hospital with what were described as moderate injuries. She was wearing her seat belt at the time of the crash, troopers said. No other injuries were reported.
