News: Driver hospitalized after striking towed unit of semi on Missouri 13

JOHNSON COUNTY, MO – State troopers were at the scene of an accident involving a car and a tractor-trailer in Johnson County Wednesday morning.

 

The Missouri State Highway Patrol released an accident report on the incident that occurred on Missouri 13 at NW 1000th Road at about 6 a.m.

 

The MSHP said 29-year-old Alec Tabor was driving a 2014 Ford Focus southbound when he struck the towed unit of a 2014 Kenworth. Tabor, a resident of Warrensburg, was seriously injured and transported to Centerpoint Hospital for treatment.

 

No other injuries were reported. The Ford was totaled and was towed away from the scene.
