News: 3-vehicle accident in Kansas City critically injures motorcyclist

KANSAS CITY, MO – A multi-vehicle accident in Kansas City on Monday left a motorcycle rider critically injured, police said.

 

The incident happened in the vicinity of NE Antioch Road and NE 53rd Street, according to KMBC.

 

An initial investigation found that a motorcyclist was going north on NE Antioch Road and struck a GMC Terrain that was making a left turn onto NE 53rd Street.  The impact caused the motorcycle to be redirected and collide with a Lexus SUV at the stop light.

 

The motorcycle rider was ejected and suffered critical injuries.  The individual was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.

 

No other injuries were reported in the incident.
