KANSAS CITY, MO – Emergency crews responded to an accident in Kansas City Tuesday that left a child hospitalized, reports KCTV.
The 1-year-old was hit by a car outside a daycare facility on Prospect Avenue near E. 79th Street at about 9:15 a.m. It happened as the toddler was being dropped off there by a parent.
The child was taken to an area hospital to be treated for minor injuries. No further details were released on what led to the incident.
