PLATTE COUNTY, MO – A driver was seriously injured when her car crashed in Platte County late Wednesday night, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.
The incident happened on Interstate 29 northbound near Missouri 273, according to the MSHP’s accident report.
State troopers said a 44-year-old woman was driving a 2014 Ford at about 11:20 p.m. when she failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway. The vehicle crashed into the median barrier.
The driver, a resident of Maryville, Missouri, was transported by Platte County Fire to Mosaic Hospital for treatment. The MSHP said she was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
The vehicle was totaled and towed away from the scene.
