WARRENSBURG, MO – The Missouri State Highway Patrol was dispatched to a pedestrian collision in Johnson County on Sunday evening.
According to a report by KMMO, the incident occurred shortly before 7 p.m. near West South Street at the University of Central Missouri campus in Warrensburg. The MSHP determined that a woman was attempting to cross a street on campus and was in the crosswalk leading from The Crossing when she was struck by a westbound 2020 Dodge Charger.
The pedestrian, a 21-year-old woman from Kansas City, Missouri, was seriously injured and transported to Western Missouri Medical Center.
The Dodge was driven by a 21-year-old man from Warrensburg.
