BENTON COUNTY, MO – A man was killed in a pedestrian collision in Benton County late Friday night, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
The MSHP stated that the accident occurred on Route BB east of Fir Drive at about 11:41 p.m.
State troopers learned that a man was walking on the roadway when he was struck by an eastbound 2011 Ford Fusion. The pedestrian, a 28-year-old man from Warsaw, Missouri, was pronounced dead at the scene by first responders.
The driver of the Ford, a 22-year-old man from Sedalia, Missouri, was not injured.
