News: Rollover accident on I-35 in Clay County injures driver

CLAY COUNTY, MO – A car accident on Interstate 35 in Clay County left a driver injured, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.

 

According to Northwest Mo Info, 50-year-old Roger R. Eiserer was driving a Ford Escape south on I-35 Wednesday evening when the crash took place at about 6 p.m.

 

The MSHP said Eiserer overtook another southbound vehicle and then struck the rear of the car.  The Escape went off the roadway and struck a cable barrier before returning the road and overturning.

 

Eiserer, a Kearney resident, was hospitalized with moderate injuries.  He was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, troopers said.
