News: Richmond man, 26, killed in rollover crash on State Route T

RICHMOND, MO – A driver was killed in a single-vehicle accident in Ray County on Monday night, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

 

The MSHP’s crash report identified the victim as 26-year-old Jason Pettiecord of Richmond, Missouri.

 

Pettiecord was driving a 2010 Dodge Neon northbound on State Route T in Richmond when the incident happened at about 7:14 p.m.  State troopers said the vehicle went off the right side of the roadway south of W. 88th Street, hit an embankment, and overturned.

 

Pettiecord, who was not wearing a seat belt, died at the scene.

 

The MSHP was assisted in its response by the Ray County Sheriff’s Department and the Richmond Police Department.
