News: Pedestrian struck by hit-and-run driver on 18th Street in Kansas City

KANSAS CITY, MO – The Kansas City Police Department is investigating a hit-and-run incident that occurred on Thursday evening.

 

A report by KSHB states that a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle while crossing 18th Street at Indiana Avenue just before 7:40 p.m.

 

The pedestrian was dragged by the vehicle and was critically injured.

 

Investigators believe the hit-and-run driver may have been going west on 18th Street or turning onto westbound 18th Street from Indiana Avenue.

 

No description of the vehicle was available yet. Anyone with further information about the collision was asked to contact Kansas City police.
