KANSAS CITY, MO – Police are investigating a crash in south Kansas City that left a pedestrian critically injured early Tuesday morning, according to KCTV.
The victim was hit by a car on a southbound ramp of Interstate 49 near Blue Ridge Boulevard at about 5:40 a.m., police said. The pedestrian was hospitalized with injuries that were reported to be life-threatening.
There were no immediate details regarding the driver or vehicle that was involved. The ramp was shut down for the accident investigation, causing traffic delays along I-49.
