News: Motorcyclist dead after colliding with tractor-trailer in Kansas City’s Northland

KANSAS CITY, MO – A motorcyclist was killed in a collision in Kansas City’s Northland area on Wednesday afternoon, Fox 4 KC reported.

 

The motorcycle was involved in a crash with a tractor-trailer on Interstate 29 near NW 64th Street shortly after 4:1o p.m.  The motorcycle rider died at the scene.  No one else was injured.

 

The accident shut down the southbound lanes of I-29 for over two hours while police and emergency crews responded.   Traffic was diverted onto NW 64th Street.

 

The wreck is under investigation by the Missouri State Highway Patrol and the Kansas City Police Department.
