KANSAS CITY, MO – A motorcycle collided with a United States Postal Service International semi-truck in Kansas City on Tuesday afternoon, KSHB reported.
Kansas City police and emergency crews responded to Truman Road near Lister Avenue after the crash was reported shortly before 4:15 p.m.
The postal truck and trailer were stopped in traffic on the roadway when the trailer was struck from behind by a Kawasaki motorcycle going east on Truman Road.
The motorcyclist was ejected from the bike and was taken to an area hospital in critical condition. The semi-truck driver was not injured.
