KANSAS CITY, MO – Kansas City police are investigating a hit-and-run crash that killed a pedestrian on Sunday night, WDAF reports.
Police responded to the scene in the 900 block of Barnett Avenue at about 9:50 p.m. and found that a male had been struck by a vehicle. He was pronounced dead later after being taken to a nearby hospital. The victim’s identity was not immediately released.
So far police have no suspects in the case and no information was released about the vehicle involved. Anyone with information regarding the crash was asked to call the Greater Kansas City Crime Stoppers TIPS hotline at 816-474-TIPS (8477).
