JOHNSON COUNTY, MO – State troopers said an elderly man was killed in a tractor accident in Johnson County last Wednesday afternoon.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the incident occurred on Route TT east of SW 1821 Road sometime between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m.
Investigators said 90-year-old William Brunner of Holden was on a John Deere tractor when it traveled off the right side of the road, struck a tree, rolled down an embankment and came to rest in a creek bed.
Brunner was thrown from the tractor and was pronounced dead at the scene by the Johnson County Coroner.
