News: Hit-and-run crash on I-70 east in Kansas City leaves driver dead

KANSAS CITY, MO – A hit-and-run incident in Kansas City early Saturday morning left a driver dead, according to the Kansas City Star.

 

Investigators said the driver of a Dodge Challenger was going at high speed on eastbound Interstate 70 west of the Paseo and rear-ended a Honda at about 4 a.m. The driver of the Honda was pronounced dead after being transported to an area hospital.

 

According to police, the driver of the Dodge got out of that vehicle, got into another vehicle and left the scene of the crash. Police are continuing to investigate the incident and are searching for the driver involved.
