News: Driver dies from injuries suffered in Kansas City car wreck

KANSAS CITY, MO – Police said one of the drivers involved in a two-car crash in Kansas City last week has died from his injuries.

 

According to KSHB, the accident happened Aug. 25 in the vicinity of East 79th Street and Oak Street. Police said the driver of a Honda Civic going south on Oak Street went through a stop sign and crashed into the driver’s side of a Mercury that was going east on East 79th Street.

 

The driver of the Mercury was pronounced dead three days later. A front seat passenger in the Mercury was seriously injured in the incident.

 

The driver of the Honda, who was the only person in the vehicle, refused medical treatment at the scene.
