News: Driver critically injured in stolen motorcycle crash on E 24th St.

KANSAS CITY, MO – A motorcyclist was critically injured in a stolen-vehicle crash in southeast Kansas City early Saturday.

According to KCTV, the incident occurred at about 12:33 a.m. at the intersection of East 24th Street and Chelsea Avenue.

Police say the unidentified driver was recklessly driving the stolen motorcycle without a helmet when he lost control while standing over the rear wheel and crashed. He was subsequently rushed to a local hospital with a critical head injury.
