JOHNSON COUNTY, MO – The Missouri State Highway Patrol said two drivers were injured when their vehicles crashed in Johnson County last week.
The MSHP’s accident report stated that the collision took place on Missouri 13 at County Road SE 21 Friday morning at about 8:49 am.
According to state troopers, the driver of a 2005 Dodge Ram was heading north on Missouri 13 and crossed over the center line, crashing into a southbound 2014 Hyundai.
The driver of the Dodge, 62-year-old Mark Steelman of Deepwater, Missouri, and the driver of the Hyundai, 32-year-old Elaina Fox of Warrensburg, Missouri, both suffered moderate injuries and were transported to Western Missouri Medical Center. The two were both wearing seat belts, troopers said.
The vehicles involved were totaled and towed away from the scene.
