News: 69-year-old woman killed when ATV overturns in Johnson County

KINGSVILLE, MO – An accident involving an all-terrain vehicle in Johnson County Sunday afternoon left one person dead and another injured.

 

According to a crash report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the incident happened on 1690 NW 200th Road just west of NW State Highway W north of Kingsville.

 

The MSHP said a 1990 John Deere Gator ATV overturned at about 4 p.m.  A passenger, 69-year-old Sharon K. Bemboom of Bates City, Missouri, was pronounced dead at the scene.  The driver, 69-year-old Robert Bush of Kingsville, was seriously injured and taken to Research Hospital.

 

The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
