CASS COUNTY, MO – A 3-year-old girl died following a car wreck in Cass County on Tuesday afternoon, officials said.
A report by KCTV stated that the single-vehicle crash happened on 7 Highway near Freedom Road south of Harrisonville at about 3:45 p.m.
The Cass County Sheriff’s Office said three adults and three children were in the vehicle at the time. The 3-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene, while the five others suffered undisclosed injuries.
The accident shut down northbound 7 Highway between Harrisonville and Garden City, and traffic was diverted at S. Kauffman Road north to 2 Highway.
