News: 3 injured when car runs off roadway on US 65 in Pettis County

PETTIS COUNTY, MO – The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports three people were injured Sunday morning when their vehicle was involved in a rollover crash in Pettis County.

 

The incident took place on US 65 near Missouri Highway 765 at about 1:30 a.m. The MSHP said 57-year-old Kenneth L. Grant of Sedalia, Missouri was driving a Toyota Camry southbound when the vehicle went off the left side of the roadway, crossed over the northbound lanes and went airborne. The Toyota landed, rolled multiple times and came to rest on Highway 765.

 

Grant and his two passengers, 50-year-old Marcell D. Wilson of Sedalia, and 18-year-old Shanelle L. Lusk of Chicago, were reported to have suffered moderate injuries. All three were transported to Bothwell Regional Health Center. State troopers said none of the three were wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident.

 

The Toyota was totaled and towed away from the scene.
