News: 2 injured when motorcycle rear-ends SUV on Interstate 70

INDEPENDENCE, MO – Two people were injured in a collision involving a motorcycle and an SUV on Interstate 70 Sunday night, KCTV reported.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to the crash site on Interstate 70 eastbound near Little Blue Parkway at about 7 p.m.

The MSHP stated that the driver of a motorcycle crashed into the back of an SUV on the interstate.  Both occupants of the motorcycle were taken to an area hospital with undisclosed injuries.

The right two lanes of the interstate were shut down while the wreck was being cleared, causing significant traffic delays through the area.
