KANSAS CITY, MO – A collision between two motorcycles in Kansas City left one of the riders dead and the other injured, Fox 4 KC reported.
Police responded to the accident early Sunday morning in the vicinity of Northwest 128th Street and Northwest Interurban Road in the Northland. Officers learned that a Harley Davidson Ultra Glide and a Honda CVR were driving north together shortly before 3:45 a.m. when the rider of the Honda missed a curve in the road near 128th Street and struck the Harley.
The motorcycles veered off the roadway and the riders were both ejected. The Honda driver was pronounced dead at the scene while the driver of the Harley was taken to an area hospital in critical condition.
Police said neither motorcyclist was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
