KANSAS CITY, MO – Kansas City police are investigating a hit-and-run incident in the Northland that injured a pedestrian early Monday morning.
According to Fox4KC, the incident happened after midnight as the pedestrian was standing or walking in the road on Northeast Vivion Road near North Lister Avenue. Police learned that the individual was struck by an eastbound vehicle whose driver left the scene.
The pedestrian was transported to an area hospital, where they were listed in critical condition. Police have yet to release a description of the vehicle they are looking for.
