KANSAS CITY, MO – An accident in a private driveway in Kansas City resulted in the death of a motorcycle rider, the Kansas City Star reports.
The incident happened Sunday afternoon in the 500 block of Northwest Barry Road near North Jefferson Street in the city’s Northland area.
According to police, the operator of a Harley Davidson Tri Glide motorcycle was going east on Barry Road and tried to turn into the driveway at about 2:40 p.m. but was driving too fast.
Investigators said the motorcycle took too sharp of a turn and flipped, with the bike landing on top of the rider. The motorcyclist, whose name was not released, died after being transported to an area hospital.
