PETTIS COUNTY, MO – Two people were injured in a collision on U.S. 65 in Pettis County on Wednesday morning, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
The MSHP’s accident report said the incident occurred on U.S. 65 northbound south of Tiger Pride Boulevard.
State troopers said the driver of a 2018 Buick Lacrosse pulled into the path of a 2014 Ford Focus at about 11:42 a.m.. The Ford then struck the left side of the Buick.
The Ford driver, 40-year-old Larry C. Tenold, and the passenger, 38-year-old Elizabeth M. Tenold, suffered moderate injuries in the crash. The two, residents of Warsaw, Missouri, were taken to Bothwell Regional Medical Center for treatment.
