SALINE COUNTY, MO – A driver was killed in a rollover accident in Saline County on Friday night, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
The single-vehicle wreck occurred along Missouri 240 at about 10:35 p.m. The MSHP’s initial investigation determined that the driver of a 2004 Chevrolet Colorado was headed eastbound when the vehicle travelled off the roadway and struck a ditch. The Chevrolet then overturned and came to rest in a field.
The driver, a 23-year-old man from Glasgow, Missouri, was pronounced dead after being flown to University of Missouri Hospital. He was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, troopers said.
The Saline County Sheriff’s Office assisted the MSHP at the scene.
