News: Crash on Route D near St. Joseph injures 3, including child

ST. JOSEPH, MO – A car accident north of St. Joseph early Sunday morning sent two adults and a child to the hospital, according to KSHB.

 

The Missouri State Highway Patrol said the driver of a 2009 Toyota Matrix was heading south on State Road D at about 1:45 a.m. and swerved to avoid a deer.  The motorist went across the center line of the road, over-corrected, and drove off the roadway where the vehicle overturned.

 

Three people in the Toyota, a 26-year-old man, a 34-year-old woman, and a 3-year-old girl, were taken to an area hospital with serious injuries.
