HENRY COUNTY, MO – Three people were taken to the hospital, including two children, in a collision in Henry County on Saturday evening.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s crash report, state troopers were called to the wreck on Missouri 13 at Southeast 450 Road at 6:50 p.m. The driver of a 2017 Ford was heading northbound when the front of the vehicle crashed into the back of another northbound vehicle, a 2012 Ford.
The 2017 Ford driver, a 19-year-old man from Osceola, Missouri, suffered moderate injuries and was taken by EMS to Golden Valley Memorial Hospital. A passenger in the 2012 Ford, an 11-year-old girl from Pleasant Hill, Missouri, also had moderate injuries and was transported by LifeFlight Eagle to Children’s Mercy Hospital.
Another passenger in the 2012, an 8-year-old boy from Clinton, Missouri, was taken to Golden Valley Memorial Hospital with minor injuries. No injuries were reported for the vehicle’s driver, a 39-year-old woman from Clinton.
All three of the injured were wearing their seat belts at the time of the crash, the MSHP said.
