KANSAS CITY, MO – Police and paramedics were dispatched to a serious motorcycle accident in Kansas City early Saturday morning, reports Fox4KC.
The incident occurred on U.S. 169 Highway near the Kansas City Downtown Airport. An initial investigation determined that the operator of a Harley-Davidson motorcycle was traveling south at about 12:30 a.m., and lost control of the bike after missing a curve in the roadway.
The motorcycle crashed and the rider was transported to an area hospital with critical injuries.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
