KANSAS CITY, MO – Police were called to a single-vehicle wreck in Kansas City last week that left a driver critically injured, KCTV reported.
The crash took place April 2 in the vicinity of Scarritt Avenue and North Bellaire Avenue at about 9:20 a.m.
An initial investigation indicated that the driver of a Hyundai Accent was heading west on Scarritt Avenue when the vehicle went off the right side of the roadway and collided with a large wooden utility pole.
The driver was taken to an area hospital with what were reported to be life-threatening injuries.
