News: 69-year-old woman dies after crashing into parked car in Kansas City

KANSAS CITY, MO – A driver died following a car accident in Kansas City on Friday afternoon, WDAF reported.

 

The crash took place on Truman Road near Ewing Avenue sometime before 3:40 p.m. Investigators said 69-year-old Patricia Brink of Kansas City was driving a red Jeep east on Truman Road and started drifting into the westbound lanes. The Jeep wound up hitting a Dodge Caravan parked legally in the westbound lanes of Truman Road.

 

Brink was transported to an area hospital, where she was pronounced dead. Police said a witness reported seeing the driver slumped over the wheel of the Jeep before hitting the Caravan.
