KANSAS CITY, MO – Police said a stolen car with four teenagers inside was involved in a wreck on Interstate 70 in Kansas City early Wednesday morning, KCTV reported.
The driver of the vehicle, a white Kia, was reportedly speeding on I-70 east at about 12:30 a.m. and lost control. The Kia hit a guardrail in the area of The Paseo, and flipped multiple times on the interstate.
All four teenagers were transported to the hospital. Three of them had been ejected from the car while the fourth was extricated by Kansas City fire crews.
One of the injured victims was listed in critical condition. The other three were in stable condition.
Police are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
