CASS COUNTY, MO – Two women were injured when their vehicle was involved in a wreck in Cass County on Thursday afternoon, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
State troopers responded to the scene of the two-vehicle crash on Missouri 291 at 203rd Street.
According to the MSHP’s initial investigation, the driver of a 2019 Ford was heading eastbound at about 2:14 p.m. and pulled into the path of a southbound 2009 Honda. The Honda then crashed into the driver’s side of the Ford.
The driver of the Honda, a 59-year-old woman, and her passenger, a 28-year-old woman, suffered minor injuries. The two are from Adrian, Missouri. They were transported by Central Cass Fire to Research Medical Center. The driver was wearing her seat belt at the time of the accident, while the passenger was not. No injuries were reported for the other driver.
The MSHP was assisted at the scene by Cass County Sheriff’s deputies.
