News: 2 injured in rollover accident on Route F in Jackson County

JACKSON COUNTY, MO – The Missouri State Highway Patrol said two people were injured in a rollover accident in Jackson County on Tuesday morning.

 

According to the MSHP’s crash report, the accident occurred on Route F near Faulkenberry Road shortly before 6 a.m.

 

State troopers said the driver of a 2012 Dodge Grand Caravan was traveling northbound when the vehicle went off the west side of the roadway and overturned, coming to rest in a ditch.

 

The driver, 68-year-old Denton Williams, suffered moderate injuries while the passenger, 64-year-old Kathy Williams, sustained minor injuries. Both are from Holden, Missouri. They were transported by ambulance to Centerpoint Hospital in Independence.

 

Both occupants of the vehicle were wearing their seat belts at the time of the crash, investigators said.
