KANSAS CITY, MO – A wrong-way collision in Kansas City on Thursday night sent three people to the hospital, according to a KCTV report.
The wreck took place in the vicinity of Ward Parkway and 51st Street shortly before 10 p.m. According to police, the driver of a gray Chevrolet Impala was driving northbound in the southbound lanes of Ward Parkway and collided head-on with a red Chevrolet Impala.
The driver and front seat passenger of the red Impala were taken to an area hospital in critical condition. The driver of the gray Impala was hospitalized in serious condition.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
