News: Woman dies of injuries suffered in Kansas City crash

KANSAS CITY, MO – Authorities said a woman who was injured in a crash in Kansas City, Missouri earlier this month has died, KCTV reports.

 

The incident occurred Oct. 10 in the area of E. 39th Street and Elmwood Avenue.  Police and emergency crews arrived at about 7:25 p.m. to find that an elderly woman was pinned between the door and frame of a black Nissan Murano and a wooden utility pole.

 

The woman was taken to Truman Medical Center where she was pronounced dead on Saturday, according to the Jackson County Coroner.  Her name has not yet been released.
