KANSAS CITY, MO – Police said a collision at a Kansas City intersection Thursday left three people injured, one seriously.
The incident happened at the intersection of NE Cookingham Drive and 112th Street, according to KMBC.
An investigation indicated that the driver of a Ford Flex was going west on NE Cookingham Drive at about 4:50 p.m. when the driver of a Ford Focus tried to make a turn at the intersection and entered the path of the Flex, resulting in a collision.
A teenager who was driving the Focus was taken to an area hospital in serious but stable condition. The driver of the Flex and a juvenile passenger in the front seat suffered minor injuries.
Kansas City police are continuing their investigation into the accident.
