News: Missouri State Highway Patrol trooper seriously injured in collision with tractor-trailer

MISSOURI CITY, MO – A collision near Missouri City on Tuesday morning injured a trooper with the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the Kansas City Star reports.

 

The wreck occurred on Missouri Route 210 near Stillhouse Road at about 11:37 a.m.  According to the MSHP, the trooper was driving a patrol car eastbound, crossed over the center line and collided with a tractor-trailer.

 

The trooper was seriously injured, and was listed in stable condition after being taken to an area hospital.  The driver of the truck was not injured.

 

Missouri 210 was shut down for nearly five hours while the accident was being cleared and investigated.
