KANSAS CITY, M0 – A single-vehicle crash in Kansas City on Wednesday morning left a driver severely injured, Fox4KC reports.
The driver was behind the wheel of a Dodge Dart on Interstate 70 when the accident took place shortly before 9:45 a.m. According to the Kansas City Police Department, the driver swerved into a metal impact attenuator, also known as a crash cushion, near northbound U.S. 71 Highway.
Emergency responders were called to the scene, and rushed the driver to an area hospital. It was reported that the person’s injuries were life-threatening.
